Most of them are green men – 43
Angels and demons, dragons and gargoyles, fauns and griffins are not a rarity on ancient buildings in Kyiv. It is also common to find "green men" – humanoid creatures of leaves and twigs. This symbol of rebirth is used in many world cultures, and it was found even in images since ancient Persia or Egypt.
